Will somebody please knock this asshole out of office already. A law was just passed that the post office can open your pack at any time for any reason, whether it was shipped internationally OR domestic. What a ****ing invasion of privacy, will you please go after the real problems already.

It's not as serious as all that. He is saying that they will not need a warrant to open mail in emergency situations, such as a bomb or something, when there is a risk of human life. He said that the post office wil not just go around opening mail they think is suspicious, and they still are not allowed to open first class mail.

Funny how everyone bashes on Bush because he actually takes matters into his own hands to defend the country instead of leaving it up to the inept congress/house... yet how many times have we been attacked since 9/11?

Bush's policies work. Period. Show me cases where he has abused his power in some way, or how he has anything but the national security in mind, I might side with you guys.

I don't feel my civil liberties have been abused in ANY way. The problem with our government is with how much it spends/taxes... not Bush's strong stance on national security.

It is about damn time there is someone else on this forum that sees things the way they actually are. Bush has spent the last six years cleaning up after phuckhead clinton. We would not be in this position if clinton would have taken action along time ago with bin laden, hussein. BUT no he was too interested in lining his own pockets for his own good.

As for the individual who thought hilary would be a good choice for president-WOW are you really serious? The only good that would come from her being on the ballot is that I firmly believe that the majority of this country is smart enough to NOT vote for her thus we would end up with another four years of a republican in office.

I realize that there are a lot of younger individuals on this forum and you are relatively inexperienced with life but I think that as you grow older, you will become more educated and see the light.
