BCS Championship

So there are heated emotions about: Florida getting to play OSU; about the timing/scheduling of the bowls; about it being on Monday night instead of the weekend; etc...

...but who is still tuning in for the whole game and really looking forward to this one? Who's your favorite, and why?

i watch the college championship every year even if i dont care about either team but this year i would really like to see florida win just so the only undefeated team (boise) would only be ranked like 3rd or something.

do you think they will fix the BCS shit in the next few years. i mean everyone talks about how stupid it is every year, even all the announcers. its the only sport i can think of that doesnt have some type of playoff to see who the best team is at the end of the season.

I certainly hope so, even it's only a limited playoff, like a final four or the top ranked 4-6 one or two loss teams. But they really should do something because it's too inconclusive. Take this year how can 1 & 2 play a reg. season game that's determined by only 3pts, and not be allowed a rematch for the title. Granted Mich. was crushed by USC, but there will always be poor match-ups and vast differences in inter-conference play. They definitely need some type of tournament.

It seems to be the least hyped National Championship game in the past few years. I don't really care who wins. I hate OSU but wouldn't mind seeing the Big Ten getting another National Title.

I have to concede that Ive never chewed any terds but I have to assume rooting for OSU is very similar

OSU because im bigten all the way, Even though IOWA blew this year, and then they only lose to texas by 2 points? WTF? Anyway, Im still not convinced that florida is that good, I watch the South Carolina game, who blocks 3 kicks? 2 fieldgoals and 1 pat. They should have lost to a 7-6 team. Anyway We will see, though. I just dont like any florida team in anysport.

I think osu will win but I will be rooting for the Gators. I really like Meyer and I am always hoping for big upsets in championships just like last year.

That wasn't my same OSU team I'm used to seeing. They played like castrated choir boys.

Much respect to Florida. They stomped our sorry asses good. I just hate their coach. He was a prick when he was at Bowling Green.
