I would just like you guys to know that I joined the United States Marine Corps today. I leave for boot camp June 21st.

Keep your head together, understand its a proven process you're going through and its gonna hurt real bad sometimes, and don't lose sight of your goal. Its the hardest thing you'll ever do but nothing will make you more proud. We need good people so work hard everyday, all day long.

And don't forget, Marine is ALWAYS spelled with a capitol "M!"

I just wanted to know if there was a specific reason you would just up and join the marines. Honestly I could never find myself volunteering to join something unless I was very passionate about what it was doing. I have 2 brothers that joined the marines and 1 that joined that army. My step father was in the Air Force. They pretty much all joined because they really didnt have any other choice or at least thought they didnt. Just curious if thats why you joined as well.

I remember hearing on the news some 14 year old girl said that on myspace, and the secret service arrested her and interrogated her, she was crying and everything. She was a hottie too. That is what it is all about, using a position of authority to take advantage of young girls.

As a former recruit myself, I didn't know that the Marine Corps recruits foreigners.

I know recruitment is at or near an all-time low, but I didn't think the military would ever get that desperate...

Actually we get paid more than puppets, plus we get free medical and dental, and a place to live. Food aint half bad either.
