What's the best funds to put in your 401K?

Depends on what's available, and what your time frame is.
Some companies don't offer much in the way of choices. But if you have an index fund, like the S&P 500 (Standard & Poor"s collection of the 500 biggest companies in the USA), that would be pretty good.
It would be to your advantage to look into investing and learn the basic ins & outs. After all, it is your money . . .
You can learn a lot at www.fool.com . . . highly recommended.

Time Frame is basically for long term..

its a fidelity website, but it is free to use and has a lot of useful information.

investing can be great but you have to know what you are investing in. Do some research and the market can be your best friend

doesnt your company have a financial advisor that you could sit with? I mean usually if they provide a 401K they will also provide some education with it.
