I have low Self-discipline. On the week I go to bed between 10.30 PM - 01.00 AM and I have to go up 05.00 PM. On the weekend I go to bed between 5 am and 7 am. Itīs my own fault if I am tired but I drink coffee and diet pepsi so I wonīt get tired. It would be better and healthier if I went to bed earlier.
Sometimes I have sleeping problems so I canīt fall asleep even when I try to sleep earlier and sometimes I sleep for a few hours and when I wake up I canīt fall asleep. Itīs just a few times a month that I have trouble sleeping(when I try to sleep but canīt), there are some guys here on the forum that have insomnia and have trouble sleeping every night.

I aim for 8, but normally get about 7 in the week. Then on the weekend I'll get ten both nights. Recently been getting some insomnia on Sunday nights. Nothing chronic like some of you bros - at least 5 hours.

I'm betting on sleep ninjas though.

    Gatdamned sleep ninjas.
My buddy had hardcore insomnia he wouldnt sleep for a week straight he told me, then he woudl sleep for like 45min-2 hours because his body couldnt physcially stay awake anymore, and then he would still feel like shit. I cant tell you what this kid looked like in highschool somtimes. looked like a wreck. he went thorugh multiple sleep studies and all this BS. and then this doctor he visted gave him this visor with all these weird little lights attached to it. he had to wear it for 45min a day while all these lights blinked diff paterns and shit. he told me it was wicked annoying, and he wore it everyday for over a month. and he was suppost to wear it at the sametime everyday. I guess what it did was reset his biological clock by using light paterns. and since then he sleeps everynight for 5+ hours he tells me. mabye you should look into somthing like that.?

Well usually i just lay there.

I read somewhere a while back that when you can't fall asleep you should get up and do something and go back to bed... but generally i just lay there with my eyes closed... trying to get my mind to shut down.

    But it doesn't...

    It runs formulae etc.

    It's always going.

    Tell me you're kidding right?

    I'm a voracious reader.

I have shelves of books in each room of my house... Suitcases that store the stuff i've read over the years that i can't part with.

I've read basically everything in my house cover-to-cover... 'cept some of the religious text my mum brought home.. and those i avoided because i didn't agree with the views they perpetuated.

I have books covering the floor of my room... My bed.

I have to push 'em on the floor to go to sleep at night

I love reading. I'd have to... My degree is a 'reading degree': sociology; psychology; management...triple minor.

I love reading...but it doesn't put me to sleep.

It relaxes me physically.. but stimulates my mind.. So i'm more wired.

Doesn't matter what i read before bed.

    well..'cept comics.

The really brainless ones like Archie comics are numbing.
