it's rediculous how many obese people the are in this country. sure some of them have medical issues but 99% are just lazy and have no disipline.

His left arm probably weighs more than me.
It'll most likely take some fairly intensive surgical procedures to even allow this guy to get in decent enough shape to begin exercising one day. I can't even begin to imagine the amount of excess skin this guy will have even if he were to shed some weight somehow.
This is really bad news. It's unfortunate that most people don't display any sense of urgency until they're told that they're going to die.

I remember when I hit 275lbs I was about 20% bodyfat. I looked in the mirror and hated myself. Started dieting down to 13%ish right away. I dont know how they can hit 30% and beyond and just not care.

How do they do it? They must sit still with out burning any calories and eat 12-15 big macs a day? I don't get it. Genetics must play some factor... I just think people that fat are an oddity...

Imagine if you were a 1000lb worth of muscle though. If you can stimulate the body to withhold 1000lb's of fat, mabye we will be able to figure out how for it to handle that much muscle...
bodybuilding would change forever

The thing i really want to no is. do they just end up not being able to get out of bed one day... or whats the deal? because people in the 600-1000lb range are bed bound. so like... when ur having trouble getting out of bed because your so big.. doesnt that ring a bell? and whens the day you finally say to yourself "...eh i dont think im gonna leave bed today, or ever again".

i think ive seen that, he couldnt even get out of bed!! and it was his wife who brought him his food and it was all shit choc bars, crisps coke etc etc not one piece of fukin fruit, fuk! shes killing him with food!

How on earth do you get to that point. I mean when you hit 250 shouldnt bells go off, and then you hit 300 it would be time to say wow I need to get my ass moving before I am stuck on a couch for the rest of my life. Its not like he went to bed 200 lbs and woke up 1000. It just seems to me like these people are living in denial
