Ummm, yeah - its an entirely new operating system so Media Center will get the boot. Are you running it now? Any problems? Worth the upgrade?

I am tempted to upgrade my home computer...

upgrade is not wise for any OS.
If you want to keep media center install both OS with a dual boot

First of all upgrading is never good for an operating system. It never seems to go smooth, and yes if you upgrade to vista, you will not have mediacenter anymore. Second of all, vista is junk. Im going to stay with xp for as long as i can.

Vista is the new XP, people tend to forget what everyone had to say about XP when it first came out

I wouldn't call Vista an "Upgrade" of any kind. MS is planning on spending 300 million bucks on another sleek marketing campaign in hopes of convincing people that Vista isn't a total turd......I think they may want to increase the budget a bit.
