    best free anti virus

    i already av AVG on al my mates comps for them but a lot of em seem to b avin trouble n get virus warniongs popin up wen there aint no virus.

    I was gona test out somew other 3 ones. Anyone got links to any sites ??

    check out download.com theres freeware and trials available, then you can always p2p if you find one you like.

    i run norton internet security.
    avg
    search and destroy sometimes

    and if you think you have a problem, check out hijack this. but research it first.

    they all suck. all the free ones at least, and norton and macafee suck cause they reak havoc on your RAM. PM me bro ill hook u up.

    i agree i got Zone Labs Security (ZoneAlarm) full with crack from snarf-it

    Iv never needed anything ells, triple security firewall, its shit hot!!! easy to use with a flash tutorial....

    Best ones you can find

    All the free ones will never find 100% of the virus's no matter what, well that goes for every scanner. Bit defender, kaspersky and norton do a good job on caching a high percentage of virus's.
    Bit-defender, kaspersky, and norton have been at the top of antivirus detection for a while. I know bit-defender has a free download, I dont know about the other two. But AVG antivirus is a high choice among people although it has a lower virus detection rate. The best bet, is to play it safe with what you do on the computer, be smart. And you can always attack virus's with two scanners like bit-defender and AVG. or whatever combo you choose.

    avg's let a few dialers thru but nothing serious,if u want the best then pay for it but its prolly the best freebie out there
