I have 200hrs of Service-Learning (aka Community Service) to do for college.

I am doing it at the Science Lab at my College and at a Elementary School science lab.

The College science lab is great. Gives me great ambition to start doing some homebrew.......

fvck community service. i've been on parole for 2 1/2 years.. only 1 left!!

but yeh community service suks .. what you do in the joint is 8 hours 5 days a week for however long your locked up (did my "community service" for 1 1/2 years)

they call it a "job" but you get paid $1.45 a DAY. Which is barely enough to buy cantene every week. So I considered it community service, as do most inmates who only have a few years to do.

And that would add up to roughly 3,128 hours of "community service" lol.

It's ok to admit you're an alcoholic. Denial will only bring you to a dead end.

    Keep coming back!

Did my 50 hours doing yard work for my grandmother. Had a really cool probation officer and social worker that let me do something that would benefit me on more than a punishment level. To be honest, I would have ended up doing a lot of the work for my grandmother anyway so it worked out good.
