Anyone actually been busted for purchasing gear?

We hear an awful lot about the risks associated with purchasing gear via mail etc...but I've yet to hear a story of someone who actually took a risk and lost. Are those stories out there?

Let's face-it, there are at least hundreds of members who regularily order gear through the mail, domestically and internationally. Unless getting arrested is simply "highly improbable", there must be a member or two who has gotten unlucky and been arrested, or at least threatened with arrest, for attempting to purchase gear via UPS or International mail.

I think Customs has discovered how wonderful Testosterone is. Their keeping it for themselves and just sending out seizure letters. The easy route, win win situation. If they crack down too hard and bust everyone then they won't have a job, or Testosterone!

Yeah, I'm beginning think international is a safer method than domestic. The risks are greater that a package gets intercepted internationally than domestically, but the recourse is seizure, as opposed to arrest.

I think my local LE has an idea that I have it, as they have pulled me over and searched me for no reason on several occasions all in my town....But, I dont think they have an idea about where its coming from... And since I have stopped ordering once a month and have only been placing orders for my own use I have not been stopped at all...

the most I hear about is customs sending seizure notices to the address... I would assume you dont go to claim your gear, as youd probably then be busted.

some people on the board have been in legal trouble. I've read posts about it. Usually it's from getting turned in by a disgruntled ex, not from the feds intercepting a delivery though.
