Xbox 360 Elite comes with 120g hd and hdmi port for watching 1080p (you really dont need it). It only comes in black. They do not make any accessories in black accept the ones accompanying it. The current 360 platinum will get all the features of the elite in about a year. There really isn't any need for the Elite for most people. I have two 360s and have not filled up either hd. First rumors were that they would change the chip-set to a 65mn, this was only a rumor. All three different 360 models are the same on the inside. The platnuim is still the best buy.

I think he means "premium". There is "core" , "premium" and "elite" in that order from worst to best. And yes in the most simple terms the elite just has 100 gb more memory.

Yes that true. It is supposed to be in the spring 07 update but fall would be a better guess. You will also be able to use MSN Messenger with this update as well as, playing people on vista based computers. With more and more movies being added to Xbox live and the launch of there own TV channels, the bigger harddrive will be a necessity if that interests you.

If you only play a few games, then the Platinum is great for you. I dont recommend the 'core', the 20 g hd and wireless controllers are the way to go.

Yes the premium would be your best bet. Put it this way, the only people that should get an Elite are the ones that use xbox live a lot. The ones that download a lot of games from the live arcade and movies. Hope that helps.

If I didn't already have the premium, I would get the elite. I think it's only $80 more and you get an extra 100 gig

Ya but if you want you can still get the add on I believe its 179.99, not a great price but better than 479.

If you want to use it to watch HD movies the PS3 is a better buy.

Porn is coming out on blu-ray as well. Right now blu-ray is out selling HD DVD 3 to 1.
