    This is wrong as this song is part of her second album launched in 2003, so she was at least 19.
    But her first album was launched in 2000.

    Corsica Island is part of France.
    It's a territory of France, but if you talk to a Corsican, they will never say they're "French." Something along the same mindset as Hawaii being a state though most Hawaiians will refer to themselves as so.

    You cannot say such a thing. Comparing Hawaii to corsica is very different.
    Most of corsicans say they are french. It is like texans in US, they would not say they are not American.
    But I agree that they are very proud to be corsican and like to mention it.
    And Corsica is not a territory but a kind of "french state" since 1768.
