Do steroids show up in hair follicle tests? and how long till your ok

I have looked around and it only mentions rec drugs. I was wondering if testing somebody for steroids with a sample of hair is possible. Also, wouldn't any drug stay on lets say your leg hairs for ever? because its like your shaving it or cutting it?

It's technically possible to test for steroids in hair, but it's not done. There are trace amounts of any chemical put into your body found in your hair.

Also, your leg hairs eventually fall out and regrow, even if you never shave them.
