They never bothered mine. I don't think they even asked me any questions. My service record and all information on file was enough apparently.

It's not like they were gonna let me in on Roswell or anything. I was just another guy who was priveledged to transport grid coordinates and words of the day between battalions. It was kind of pointless.

I mean, it's not like radio encryption wasn't good enough. They were just planning for the event that radios were down and things needed to be communicated physically.

I was a grunt in my day too.

hmm guess ill need it then, im thinking about making this career, and if i do i can easily expect corporal in a few years.

The only advice I can give you is, get out of the grunts. Get into something technical. Comm has some pretty cool MOSs dealing with fiberoptics that will guaruntee you 40k/ year when you get out. Aviation electronics is a good bet too. Plus, coming from the grunts, they'll promote you like a war hero.

If you plan on staying 20 yrs in the infantry, for god's sake get out, get a college education, and get back in as a mustang Lt. You'll make more $, everyone will like you because you aren't a retard butterbar, and you are treated better.
