Quick question for those that have had limes disease.
Today I came in from running (which I haven't been doing recently) and my dad noticed a big red ring around my armpit/shoulder area. Oh and I thought I should mention I run in a small forest across the street thats loaded with deer. I just like it better than running on the sidewalk or treadmill. Anyways, my brothers wife came over because her brother had limes disease and she said it looks identical to what he had and shes like "yeh you def have limes disease".
I haven't worked out in like a week because I've extremely tired and "extreme fatigue" is another symptom of limes disease, plus like about 10 other symptoms I could easily identify with doing research on it. Like tingling sensations, its weird like if I have a scratch and I scratch it I literally cant explain it but it feels like its registering from the opposite side of my body. Like I scratch my left leg and my brain thinks its my right leg. I didn't see that as a symptom but I'm going to the doctor tomorrow because everyone in my family (including myself) thinks its def limes disease.
My question is lol.
They will do a blood test and I just got off a cycle. When they test for limes in the blood will they test for other things like steroids , etc?
If anyone knows I'd really appreciate it, thanks. I'm going to the doctor first thing tomorrow morning. The weirdest part is I haven't lifted weights in about a week (my mom even asked me what was up) and I just haven't had any energy at all, I mean NO energy. And I've always gotten to the gym a minimum of 3 times a week for like the last 2 years or w/e. Weirrrd. Everythings pointing towards limes and I hope it is limes only because I HAVE been feeling VERY "ODD" lately and now hopefully I can get my life back (because its literally felt like my life has been slipping away recently for no reason at all)
But if anyone knows about the blood test question I'd appreciate it. Like when they test for a specific disease will they naturally test for other things too, or just for that one specific disease? If anyone knows Id really appreciate it. I literally just got off a cycle not to long ago. (and don't get me wrong, I'm not feeling depressed or anything like that, when I read down the list of limes disease symptoms I could identify with like 85% of them, plus the pictures are identical to the bright red ring I have by my armpit) But if anyone knows about the testing procedures Id really appreciate it. Thanks!!
I just dont want the doc saying to my mom "well yeh you have limes disease and we also found elevated levels of testosterone ethanate in your blood too.. one of the most well known steroids on the streets". Cause that would really suck lol.

i agree with the others u have bigger things to worry about. btw im pretty certain that there's no possible way for them to tell u that you were taking testosterone enanthate , maybe ur levels will be high but they can't definitively say "your taking test e..."

I doubt they'd bother testing for 'roids. But that lyme disease -- that'e nothing to screw with. My doctor -- general practioner -- died at age 55 from that stuff. Had to get myself another doctor.
Do what they tell you to do about this, don't screw around. You can die from this.

g/damn you people are freaking me out.
From what I've read so far it seems that all they do is put you on some strong antibiotics and its suppose to vanish relatively quickly. All I know is my dog had it and she if fine now. But she was paralyzed in her 2 front legs for a couple weeks.
I'm just really hoping I caught it in the earlier stages but I fear I didn't because I had a ring outbreak a few months ago and thought nothing of it (like an idiot). Now it came back much larger and pronounced and I'm starting to feel the some crazy side affects.
IDK, I suppose you all are right. I'll be at the docs first thing tomorrow morning so I'll keep you all updated.
I'm definently not liking the whole serious vibe though because I always thought limes disease was no big deal but now I'm startn to bug out over this shit.
Thanks for all the feeback though, definently helpful.

For early cases, prompt treatment is usually curative.[127] However, the severity and treatment of Lyme disease may be complicated due to late diagnosis
The disease can be fatal in and of itself; deaths have been reported.
----- i got this from wikipedia. seems like if its caught within 4 weeks or so its typically easy to cure but after that it becomes more difficult.

Ok hmm, fvck, the first time I noticed the ring was around a month ago. Than it went into remission and came back this week.
So I guess only the docs will be able to tell me what stages I'm at, thanks for the heads up though.

Bro I got Lyme's back in the summer of 04'. I was diagnosed late, just finished a cycle of winny/tren /clen and I ended up having not only lyme disease, but viral meningitis, and also ended up up bells palsy throughout my face not just one side. Have a spinal tap done ASAP, Lyme titer teasts suck. Good Luck!
It has only been recently my energy levels are coming back.

Lets see...about 3-4 weeks after being bitten by the tick...I developed arthritis in every single joint in my body, so bad so that i could not straighten either arm, my neck had limited range of motion, it was painful for me to walk up and down stairs as it affected my knees. I was cured of it, however, it took a good 6 months before I could even TOUCH a weight without whatever joint being sore for a few weeks afterwards. And honestly, I believe a lot of the effects from the virus still have long lasting effects on my health today, although every blood test i've had shows im perfectly healthy. Better goto the doc ASAP...

Hey Bojangles, I have lyme disease now. Tests usually give too many false negatives or false positives. If you have been bitten and you have those symptons you talked about you definitely have lyme disease man. I personally don't believe in convetional medicine myself , although i have heard that combining antibiotics with fitotherapy (which is using herbs) can have positive effects. I am now recovering just using natural herbs from a company called Nutramedix. They have a very effective program now created by DR. Lee Cowden .If you don't know much about the disease send me a PM. I have done an huge amount of research. This disease will literally make you loose your mind if you hit the chronic stage like i did. IF you don't belive me research a herb called Samento (TOA's free Cat's claw) and you will know what I am taking about. I hope you get better. Cheers.

lmao.. I am fine today gents thanks for asking.
I have seen a friend with a bad case of lymes (the left side of his face was paralyzed) but I never had any bouts with pain or paralysis. The worst part of mine was sleeping all day everyday for about 2 months, the nerve confusion, and some days entire limbs would go numb (but not paralyzed).
I had a weird symptom where when I would touch myself (DSM shutup =]) it would register on the other side of my body. It didn't happen all the time but enough to make me think I was losing my mind.
It wasn't like a feeling of touch per say, more like a hallucination of feeling. Extremely weird and extremely scary.
But after 2 months of nonstop sleep and nerve problems it gradually began to fade.
The most annoying part is even when it gets better you have cycles of remission. A few months had passed and I thought it was gone untill I was at a wedding and fell asleep on a bench (hadn't been drinking). I went into a deep sleep state for 2 days, and then that was the last real symptom I ever had.
So I do think I got lucky. I initially though lymes was a joke but soon learned it is def not something to fvck around with. All and all I'm still alive and healthier then ever (knock on wood)

As previously stated, this is a time sensitive issue.Antibiotic treatment needs to start as soon as possible. It can be cured through early diagnoses.
But, if you blow the 4 week time window, your chances of curing it drop dramatically.
