Music for certain lifts????
Okay does anyone else have certain music they listen to on certain days while doing certain exercises? I know for me I sometimes listen to
her ghost in the fog - cradle of filth and blood brothers when I am doing biceps
or slipknot when I do squats
or something inspirational while doing deadlifts
triceps i listen to rap usually and cardio something with a fast paced beat
shoulders i listen to whatever usually rap with a solid, stable beat
chest is anything that will get me up and going but I dont like to dip into music for other lifts too much then I get tired of em
finally I dont listen to songs I exercise to at night because I feel it gets me going and ready for some heavy ass lifting...anyone else share this same state of mind or am I crazy?

wow you really break it down. I assume you bring an ipod. I listen to what ever is playing at the gym and I try not to listen to it because it usually sucks. If I were to listen to music while working out it would have to be the Smiths/Morrissey.

I love your avy!

He loves your avy back.
My gym has TV's everywhere including personal tvs on each cardio machine so I don't listen to music anymore. Usually just turn my headphones to whatever is on ie; sportscenter, first take, scrubs, daily show...etc

Dosent matter what I'm doing, it has to be metal, nothing gets me going more than the agression of good metal.
Darkest hour
Dark tranquillity
In Flames
etc

slipknot is always good for getting that first, very very tough exercise out of the way..ie squats or those first few sets of heavy chest

mainly squats though for me..something about "come on motherf*cker everybody has to die!" screaming in my ear just makes me want to go crazy
