    How do you...

    ...hold yourself accountable for your diet and training?


    I found it easier to keep in top shape when I was competing in sports through college. It's a lot harder to hold myself accountable when I'm only doing it for myself...ya know?

    Very true...I know this girl that was striving for a fitness model-type body and cut out pictures from magazine then taped them to the front of the fridge, cupboards, pantry...etc. I thought that was a little excessive!

    Yep, I think about how I felt physically at 6' and 140lbs. Not to mention in today's world with some intellect, a great body, and nice looks... society pretty much spreads its materialistic/whoring legs for you.

    Since I've been lifting its just improved my state of well being and my life by so much I can't even quantify it.

    i find a positive mindset works best for me. if i'm dieting and i'm craving something, I'll tell myself that i HAVE TO stay on my diet as opposed to I CANT EAT that... the mirror works as well. take a second to check yourself out and ask yourself, considering my goal can i afford to eat this... mindset is a big part of it for me bro - discepline. if i crave sweets i'll eat a protien bar with a higher sugar content.... maybe - usually a low sugar protien bar will do.. or grapes does the trick for me as well as far as sweet satisfaction goes.

    Your wasting your time if your training and not dieting a 100%. Every little bit of a fuc up in dieting, you could have gained a little more and looked that much better. Thats what I think. Like Pinn said..."Treat your body like its a Ferarri, you wouldnt put 87 octane gas in would you?" or something like that. You have to treat your body like a fine tunned machine, the better tuned the more you get out of it.
