rj you truely are a freak, im sorry to hear about your injury

im sure you will bounce back stronger than ever, did you have to stop training all together or were you able to still perform other lifts

i ended up taking 3 weeks off... it's actually been 1 month today since the tear. this week i've been working around the injury and i'm happy to say i'm feeling pretty damn good. i was able to take the bar to my chest with no pain (which is a great sign in my book). i'm in no real hurry to bench... although i feel like i could go light right now. i just want to heal it up properly and continue to train around it for another month. the next contest i'm considering is in Feb. so time is on my side. it definitely sucks to be hurt; however, i gotta take full responsibility for this one. i was feeling like i wasn't fully recovered from the previous bench day and went heavy anyway... i'm normally smarter than that... this time the ego got the best of me!!!

im glad to hear you are healing up fast

injuries are the worst part of the game, its a lot easier to push through some pain and make things worse than backing off when you need too

you say your next meet will be in feb. are you talking about the powerstation pro/am?

Alot of guys that put up the "heavy" weight do it all fuked up. Tiny little reps, swinging, etc. (not saying the original poster). I finally got this kid I work out with sometimes to do full reps and his weight went way, way down
