22yr old girl sentenced to death by stoning. Barbaric..

I'm not sure if this has been covered by the American media however it's had wide coverage here in Europe. Recently a 22 year old Nigerian woman was sentenced to death for having a baby outside of wedlock. The woman was tried under islamic law. Her sentence has been commuted for 2 years to allow her more time to spend with the child, then she'll be taken away, buried to her neck in sand and stoned to death in a public execution.

That is horrible, but I must admit I did not sign the petition. That is their tradition, their custom, as sick and fucked up as it is, it is theirs. I despise what is going to happen to that lady, but God will make sure to make it all good. As sickening as that act is, there are plenty of horrific cases involving everything from hospitals denying 3 year old heart patients treatment, to starving children on the streets of America. I would gladly be stoned to death rather than witness money becoming the cure or death sentence to children and adults suffering alike. Call me an asshole, but we MUST take care of our own first and foremost. I will pray for her.
