i lived there for about 2years. great place,
the beer was just about free, no traffic, rent was a joke, and the girls where whores, it was a blast! i sometimes miss it, now i live in a metro city, lots of traffic, beer isnt free, mortgages for my buildings blow, and now i am stuck with the same girl every day, i had it good in spartanburg.

hard to find any gym for 10 bucks a month! 42 isnt that bad, when i was down there i joined a golds. i HATED IT!!!! i lasted 3 months. i found an old YMCA that had a great free weight set up. i photocopied my buddies card, put a picture of me on it, and laminated it, and i went to the gym for free for 2 years. the ID had a bar code on it, i would scan in this back door, the door would open auomaticaly and i was in! it was a great scam. the south has SO much potential. you can pull alot of stunts and get away with alot of scams that wouldnt work in the north. in the north or metro areas, they have seen it all before, but down there,LOL it is ripe for the picking!

anderson, talk about pulling some easy poon!!!! that sh1t grows on the side of the road out there. That is right around the Clemson campus, let me just tell you about the anderson SC pink sock. Charleston SC is probably my favorite city in the US though, it is so damn charming and nice, and the 6:1 woman to men ratio aint bad either. Just have some coin if you want to do it right out there.

Duncan is right outside of Spartanburg on Hwy 290. I live in Greenville and work in Duncan. I used to go the Middle Tyger Y before work. Thought maybe I'd seen you there.

I'm talking more as far as rent goes. I'm still in school and last year I paid $800 per month. I also live downtown. This year isn't as bad at around $600. I know my friends back up north pay around $300 or even less. If you live out on James Island or in Mt. Pleasant it isn't as bad, I think.

uh I paid around 3k for mortgage on a 1200sqf house near the "market" 8 years ago but had friends renting for about 700-1200 a month so rental properties are definatly not in short supply, it is owning stuff that gets pricey, like a home or going shopping at gucci when there stuff 2x as much as it is in NY, all the nice stuff is overpriced IMO but all the cheaper things to do are available just dont end up on the wrong side of town trying to do them. Tax on my property was so outragous I literally could have bought a new car every year w/ the property taxes I paid.
