Ok whos recruiting all the newbies

Is it just me or is there a major flood of newbies over the last week. It seems like every other post lately is from someone with 100 or less posts. Not that what they say does not matter, but its like someone is out handing out flyers.

I wouldn't mind so much if they would at least ask different questions, or questions that are difficult to find the answers to. I think joining the site should include a tutorial on how to use the "search" button.

Yeah I have no problems with newbies coming, it just seems that they usualy trickle in, and this week they flooded in.

We don't mind anyone, as others have said we were all newbs at some point...

But it would be nice for the new-newbs to do their homework a little more thoroughly with the Educationnal Threads and the Search button before asking a question thats been asked 10,000 times before.

Even after all the years I've been here, I still have a lot to learn and before starting any threads I still use Search button to see if my question has been answered already (and 90% of the time it has!)

Just my 2 cents

I hate the search button, it lags a lot and all I find are posts from other noobies who didnt use it properly in the first place. Its a vicious cycle. A vicious fvcking cycle I tell ya.

This is why i do my best to stay out of the Q/A section. Its the same questions over and over again.

Some are pretty good to deal with, and others are complete asses. Merc had to tighten up a few of us giving it to a newbie on a post earlier. Sorry Merc, lol...

I always thought the point of signing up to a forum was so you can use the search button....its funny whenever I join a new forum I am up till 5 A.M. looking at posts from 2001
