So Im soon to buy new clothes.
What do you all wear? As far as brand names and such.
Im getting a little tired of the A&F look. Just looking for something nice, cool, and trendy.
Anyone? Whats your "go to" outfit?
-
Jeans and a dress shirt or polo. I've never been into the "trendy" styles. I typically just wear Ralph Lauren and other classic looking companies because I can wear it to work and then out at night as well.

I just find Affliction, Dom Rebel, True Religion are all out. Their style was 2006 and early 2007. I like the cleaner look, that is why Im starting to prefer, Gstar Raw (By Marc Newson), J. Lindeberg. The whole rebel, rockstar look is over.

Prada nailed it....go with clean. I have always liked clean and simple looks and it always works. I always see dudes who are obviously trying way too hard to pull off a "high fashion" look...they can't...they look like douche bags.
Buy a nice pair of high end jeans if you want...an untreated dark rinse, blue or black (KMW and Earnest Sewn make some nice jeans with a roomier cut in the legs which allows someone with any muscle on their legs to wear them- not too baggy at all, though).
Finding the right pair of jeans takes time...you have to take the time to try on an assload of jeans if you don't already know what works for you.
Pair it with a simple v-neck t-shirt (plain white, black, or charcoal), a crew neck sweater (again solid colours), a button down shirt (no cowboy looks) or a polo.

I don't really even look at brands, I'm no lable whore.
If it fits, and it looks nice, who cares.
I'm plain as well. A polo goes with anything. T-shirt and some camo shorts, white shoes or sandals. Jeans and a dress shirt, simple pattern, vertical stripes or solid in color.
In the winters I'll break out some sweaters, I just look for anything that catches my eye and go with it.
