Major, quit trying to import things from canada, we have lots of things down here just as good or better w/o the hassle
Ours may have more miles on them but they are still fun to "drive"Last edited by goodcents; 01-08-2008 at 10:28 AM.

Major, I would look into something like an 02-03 RSX-S. Can be had for around the same money and will be the boy racer car it sounds like you are wanting. Skyline was great in its day but cars have come along way since than.

yeah the RSX-S are pretty nice and quick. they were good but thats why they came out with new and approved cars. with 9k you can get a nice quick car thats not gonna break down on you as much as a 15 yr old car

A friend of mine has an 83' corvette he thought was the fastest thing on the planet until I blew the doors off him in my stock saab 9-5.

i had a saab once and it was quick..maybe because it was turboed...a saab beating a vet. thats one fast car or that dude doesnt know how to drive
-
01-08-2008, 12:34 PM #60
Well a fast saab would be llike a 9-3 viggen, a 9-5 is fairly heavy and only pushing 200hp with the turbo. My point is cars have gotten better, and although the covette got rave reviews in 83' it is no competition for today's covettes or even average cars on the road. The skyline was a rocket in it's day, but not so much anymore.

Yeah sure, Give me a choice of car manufacturer by nation and as i like to drive hard i will not be going with a nation whos reputation for buiilding cars is seen as somewhat barndoor which produces a vast majority of cars with bad handling.
Give me a Jap or European car any day of the week, month, year, whatever.
BUT befoer you take this an an insult and get the troops armed and ready to be deployed the UK to invade us because of our american car hating regime. The US has set the standard for producing muscle cars, Classic american muscle cars rule as far as looks sound and sex apeal goes, nothing touches them in that field.
my dream garage houses a Shelby Cobra and a 1970 Plymouth.
p.s excuse my sarcasm

If i was a boy racer, id buy a Jap, Evo or Scooby WRX STI. Probably Evo in the UK as i have heard the STI is a big drinker.

Well you said the skyline was a rocket in its day. That skyline is by no means a rocket as there were much faster cars than it in 92. So I figured you meant the latest skyline.
