    Hulkamania arms and MEGA POWERS

Did Hulk Hogan really have the biggest arms in the world back in the late 1980s? 24"s?

This is a Mega Powers classic:

    well they say that he is 6' 9" - 6' 10"tall.
Brooke must be like 6' 4" - 6' 5" tall then if that is right.

Hogan admitted in court, in 1990, during the steroid hearing, under oath to both steroid use , and when asked, said his arms where 22”.

When asked why he claimed 24”, he told them it was because in wrestling people want larger than life heroes.

He is really only about 6'4", and at his tallest about 6'5" in his youth. He never had 24" arms, more like 22" at the biggest.

Unless he was counting a lot of water and bloat, and bodyfat over 18%, he never had 24" arms.

Why did the wrestlers and lots of BB's look so smooth back then? Stallone in Rocky 1 and 2 is a good example too, all smooth, then in rocky 3 he got shredded. What changed to make these guys go from big smooth to big and shredded??? New kind of gear in the 90's or something??

    Examples :
Hogan vs Andre the Giant http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bpSXE...eature=related

    Hogan vs the Rock http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6woTyOqGMyY

I think Hogan looks better more than 10 years later wrestling the Rock than he does in his prime vs Andre. Any thoughts to the reason for this?

Back then a lot of the guys were using high doses of cheap testosterone , and other AAS that could easily turn into estradiol.

That would make them retain a LOT of water.

This was before AI's, and a lot of knowledge on how too much of some compounds = tons of E2.

So was the time period they started looking ripped too.

My guess is they figured out that a mild diuretic would offset the extreme water holding look of the 1980s.

If you watch a few of Hogans early matches you will notice a very disgusting thing. Whenever part of him touches the ropes, and moves away, you will see a deep white line, that does not go away for a long time, from all the subQ water.
