    The New Food Pyramid

    Check it out... mypyramid . gov ... I'm taking Nutrition for Athletes and I came across that site in my book. You basically punch in some information and it tells you how many calories a day you need, how many cups of veggies, fruits, etc. I think it's geared more towards the aerobic athlete so I plan on increasing my meat intake, but I'm going to start following it.

    yep...i learned about the change a couple years ago in my nutrition class....it just makes more sense to have different values for different people....Everyone is different...

    doesn't really take into account muscle at all. not bad for the avg. joe.
