In fact recently I have been having similar conversations with my friends/ "some" family. One of the most interesting aspects of the dilemma is that there are no long-term peer reviewed health studies.

If the FDA was really that confident in the "risk" of such compounds there would be heaps of evidence.

IMO, the views that your relative have, from MSM, are purposely created to reduce the power of the average person i.e. by reduced health, energy, well-being, etc.
