    Broken Laptop Screen

Alright guys I need some help here. My laptop slid of my lap a couple weeks ago and story short the screen has a big crack in it. I have a apple macbook 15.1in. What do you suggest I do to get it fixed. Ive done some research online and found a website that gives step by step directions on how to remove the old one and they said that they offered replacements but I emailed them and they have yet to get back to me...

How much should I expect to pay for a replacement monitor for a black apple macbook 15.1in?

    Thanks a lot

Replacing a screen as a piece of p!ss.....

The lid is literally held on by two screws at each end to the base,
(or a bar that goes into a connector so it can rotate)
with a plastic cover over the screws.

And the replacement screen part is just screwed into the lid and connects to the base with a ribbon connector.

Follow there guide and you'll be amazed at how easy it is.

Try ebay for replacement parts - lots of computer shops have accounts set up on there.

I broke my girlfriends screen and the geek squad wanted 900 bucks to fix it! She was better off just buying a new one.

the cases on macbooks have the lcd attached you need the whole new top case/lcd most lcds are around 200 but macs are usually pricier especially because you have to get the top caseing.
