http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xzq4YwgWa5s
He may have lost, but i truly believe he is the best trained and conditioned fighter in the UFC..if you say this isnt nuts your lying to yourself.

Depends on your definition of insane... its nutz because you dont do that type of conditioning training just like if this guy came to the gym with me on leg day he would probably cry.... cause he doesnt train for that... but its pretty hardcore IMO

yeah actually he did accomplish something considering he was a belt holder for a while..he was just an idiot in the penn fight and for some reason thought he could stand up when he is a ground fighter..

I thought the first round looked pretty easy...the second round looked pretty tough and the third round wasn't too bad except for the ab wheel....then he repeats, all that to round 5.... that would be pretty tough for 5 rounds.

It matters how hard he trains because even though he lost, the dude is still like 35-5 or so. Thats a pretty damn good record.

haha well watch his fight against hermes franca and tell me he sucks..bj penn was a fluke..i am CONVINCED that if they fought again and sherk took him to the ground he would win..as sherk says..he wants to fight at 110 mph for 5 rounds and thats what he does..no matter what..

HAHAH... you are convinced that if he took one of the most talented bjj black belts to the ground that he would win? This isn't Royce Gracie's slow and soft style bjj....bj penn's is NOT all passive like that. That is just the silliest thing i have heard. So what if he goes 110 mph on the ground. Go fast and hard and do the wrong thing and you get submitted.

I think I've seen worse when you compare it to what navy seals have to go through.

i hate these guys that are always hardcore and think this is what is going to get them ripped.
always the ones boxing the mirror in the squat rack.
its pathetic to see that kind of traing and people expecting to get BB huge.
i understand people do it for sport specific stuff but i dont see whats so great about it.
Maybee they should try adding some muscle and then start their conditioning.
most of those guys are to skinny.
I hate how they say some are all natural to.
Just cause a guy didnt test postitive didnt mean he hasnt cycled in the past, thenu listen to all these hardcore loonies who talk about this MMA stuff likes its real life and so hard core, and they train so hard core, and they hard core is all i ever hear with how they have never used any drugs.
Its a business just like the WWE, do you think they are really going to test vince (the guy is just a bit big for 63) or guys like cena and lashley, or batista. Hell no these guys are huge and they make big bucks for the organization.
Again i understand this conditioning training but why does everyone love to talk about how "hard" this training is. hell training like that is no fun. you can actually enjoybody building. most guys who try to train with this style end up quitting. i dont see what all the hype about.
lol i always wanted to see coleman on UFC that would be so funny. Most likel he would get killed but when you got some 175 pound punching someone with 125 more lean pounds of mass it would be so funny. I bet ron would sit theyre eating his grits and then laugh and try to squash the guy.
One more thing whenyou see some of these guys in Real life you thikn they are normal people they just look "fit." I dont find it hard to be fit, i take much more pride in trying to look huge and cut. Its nice to look like you actually workout. Not to say these UFC guys dont train hard or they look bad at all they look awsome i just mean in general.
again i dont see the big deal with mma and UFC atleast WWE used to be huge guys and have so much stupid drama now its no more fun
