What people dont realize is without the consistent appreciation of homes stimulating the production/sale and financing theirs going to be a hell of alot less money to be spent showing that our economy is over inflated pointing towards a bout of deflation or even a very similar period as the great depression.... which is why bernankie (cant spell his name lol) the fed chairman is purposely inflating our money supply......

Ya its going to get worse. Lsiten to peter schiff.

The US is done. A land of production and savings turned into a nation of run away debt and inflation is knocking on the door.

SUre it might come back but pull out put money in economys that are legitimate ( positive account surplus)

Helicopter Ben is coming over a city near you to print more cash off but one day it wont work anymore.

They rescued it all back on the NASDAQ crash by printing more money.

its a good thing home prices are coming down, they were over inflated anyways.

Once the dollar collapses were all going to be better off. You know sometimes the medicine tastes bad but you gotta swallow it.

I agree, gas prices are terrible. But if you have a college degree and an ounce of ambition you will find a good job with benefits and everything you need to get a good salary and good home. Those who are really hurting are the low educated blue collar workers who live in the middle of no where and if they are not working in factory they do not know what to do with themselves.
My father is blue collar, he is a master HVAC technician, but he still makes $100k+ a year doing that work because he is an intelligent guy

Can't find a job? Join the ****ing army and don't bitch the economy is bad when you do not know what you're talking about

And will people stop complaining about gas prices.

I am saying this clear, gas prices have not changed in years. Your dollar has lost value.

May i repeat gas prices have not changed.

"Barrels of oil per dollar in blue, Euro in red and ounce of gold in purple."

Here i dont know how to make it more clear.

Prices on anything havent changed. Your dollar has just lost its value.

If you flew to the middle east and Bought a barrel of Oil with 1 ounce of gold the same 1 ounce of gold can get you the same amount of oil.

How obvious does this need to be, may i add that paper currency isnt even allowed in the consitution.

The reason stuff costs more is cause they keep printing more dollars.

I don't foresee anything getting any better until late 2009 or early 2010. And I have a feeling that it's going to get much worse before it gets any better.
WhooHoo, today they just announced an increase in our gas mileage a 16% increase that is. From $0.505 to $0.585

We have some scholars on here as well! Leaving the Gold Standard was the worst thing that ever happenned in America. Worse than any terrorist attack, worse than any war, and worse than any depression.

thats the greatest feeling in the world. as far as houses i got some rental property for a good price thanks the the realestate slump. alot of houses have been on the market for a long time so people are quick to negotiate and drop them to avoid paying any more taxes
