i had a stephen king phase, enjoyed a lot of his books - tommyknockers, it, different seasons, dark tower series... can't seem to get into them anymore.
i'm currently reading a book called the alienist by caleb carr...it's fantastic. i've really been into historical suspenseful stories lately...
some of my favourites of all time:
i know this much is true - wally lamb - 897 pages, and it all culminates in the last couple paragraphs...i love this book.
who has seen the wind - w.o. mitchell (my favourite book ever, probably because it reminds me of the place and culture i grew up in)
the ian rankin series - if you like crime stories, they're pretty good

surprised how many of you guys like non fiction books.....i essentially can't stand reading most of them unless it's about something like the Paranormal or Ancient Egypt and such.

The Girl Next Door was the most disturbing book I've ever read. I read the whole book at work in one day. You will want to put the book down, but it will grab you right back. I still get chills thinking about it.

I'm a big Dan Brown fan. Obviously the Da Vinci code and Angels and Demons, but also check out Deception Point and Digital Fortress. They are difficult to put down. I also like non-fiction military such as Black Hawk Down by Mark Bowden, Bravo Two Zero by Andy McNab, and Inside the Wire by Erik Saar.

Swan Song was good, but for pure epicness, read The Stand.
1400 pages of end of the world, apocalyptic stuff for the human race.
