    Anyone watching the home run derby?

    Man...josh hamilton is hitting moonshots. He just hit 28 hr in the 1st round. he hit one pitch 515'. His old american legion coach is throwing to him..hes like 70 something years old..

    Gotta feel good for the guy...he missed 3 years of his life shooting heroin and smoking crack..

    What ever happened to Ole' boy in your avvy? I forget his name. He was the closer for the braves and then he had a little melt down or something, didn't he. Did he ever get back into the majors?

    That's John Rocker. I don't think he's pitched since he played for Tampa for a game or so back in 2003. The dude was and probably still is a nut case.

    ^^ pretty much. He was pitching in some independent league a few years ago but I'm sure he gave it up by now...

    yeah hamilton tore it up in the first round...too bad his next ones weren't as impressive and he didn't win the whole thing though...but everybody was still acknowleding him as the winner with that amazing round...also a good story behind his life too

    he wore himself out in the 1st rd hitting all those 500 ft moonshots... morneau is lucky hamilton got gassed after that impressive first round...
