just googled it how sad am i, seems there alot of stipulations to be considered the biggest, i fink oxfords one is the biggest in the sense of size and yours mayb in population, but neither actually came up in google ne way so who knows

Im not sure exactly, but i know Wythenshawe is 11 square miles of council estate id have said by looking on a map oxford city is about 15 square miles.
The population of wythenshawe is summin like 70000-80000 people. Id hazard a guess that the entire population of Oxford City is probably 100 000-120 000 with probably anything up to 50 000 of these being students.

Technically speaking Wythenshawe is a "commuter town" to Manchester, but its a part of Manchester itself hence the reason its classed as an estate.
