The postwhore thread is getting deleted. What is going o ?

I just got an email from admin stating there closing the postwhoring thread at the end of the month due to it being 'An unecessary part of the forum'
I pm'd a few mods and they confirmed this and there will an announcement later this week confirming it for all members.

That sucks. I say we start another called, I should hit that B****, for everyone missing the oppurtunity to hit a guy that just pissed them off. Kind of like a get rid of aggression post. You know when you get pulled out in front of by some jacka** and then when you go around him he flicks you off, then you say that mother******, I should hit that b****, but you don't

all the whore thread being deleted is gonna do is flood every other thread with a slew of banter thats off topic because theres no water cooler to merge around and bullshit anymore. ive barely posted in there but think its kind of a dumb idea to get rid of it.

well with the money that this site is making. they should be able to pay for some extra bandwidth. also. like stated earlier... if its deleted again. all the other threads are going to turn into whore threads cuz us real whores get bored and will just want to chat about everything and anything.

not every thread in every forum...alot of threads in the lounge tho, yeah..thats exactly what im saying. other threads in the lounge might be for talking about random crap but theres at least a subject being discussed..ever notice how sometimes threads turn into 7 pages of peoples conversations that steer off the margin of what the thread was even started about? thats the kind of whoring that the post whore thread is good for. whore away whores but when it splits up the posts that have anything to do with the threads origonal subject it makes for a distracting read. if its a bandwidth issue, delete the postwhore thread and restart it. problem solved.
of course im saying all of this passively and for the most part i cant say i really give a ****. i just know alot of people use the whore thread so why delete it. altho again. for the most part im indifferent. im not picketing with a sign outside steroid .com headquarters i just recognize that people enjoy it.
