what team u think would be best...

i am a huge packer fan, but a bigger favre fan!... so i'm kinda hopin the vikings... cause they have the best weapons, and teach GB a lesson...

the vikings would be in the super bowl if they had him. they have the single best pass rushing team ever and the top rb, all they need is a qb and there unstoppable

Yeah that would be trouble for everyone....No deal finalized yet, him and McCarthy talked for a long time last night, and more today i think. Starting to look more and more like a trade to the Vikings.

I thought over saturday Goodell was saying it needed to be decided by Monday. Preseason has already begun with the Colts losing to the Redskins Sunday. But then again the colts played without Peyton, Bob Sanders, Dwight Freeney, Harrison, and Addai. I can't believe its already football season again!!!!!

I don't see the Packers trading him to the Vikings, but I can see a good switchero, and have Favre going to Tampa Bay, THEN, traded to Minnesota.

My only other prob is this, Favre, great regular season QB, playoffs... not so much. And plus, what is Green Bay going to get for him? If you base it off of last season, then at least a first round draft pick, but the team that is going to get him needs him to sign an agreement that he has to stay AT LEAST 2 years, so they are not just throwing away draft picks for what they are hoping to be a superbowl run in just one year.

What if whoever he goes to doesn't win the superbowl, then what? He may decided to retire..... again..... then you got nothing, no first round pick (gave that up for Favre)..... Its all screwed up, he just needs to hang it up...

the vikings would happily give there 1st round pick for a qb that can take them deep into the playoffs and possibly give them a ring for the next 2 years. tampa has garcia who did very well last year and of course green bay dosnt want there rival vikings to have him but for a 1st round pick they will probably reconsider and do it.

Well its official. He was traded to the Jets, their schedule in the 08 season seems to be not that tough. They play alot of on the fence teams and not too many 'elite' teams. They have 2 run-ins with the Pats and after their first run-in the next week is at the chargers, that should make em fill good at the beginning of the season. Its favre so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and say he might be able to make a run in the playoffs but very very low chance on a super bowl win. I guess he really just wants to play but IMO he should have stayed retired especially after his HUGE going away 'party'.

The Jets.... ugh..... I thought he wanted a chance to win? Haha, I hope they don't think that Favre alone is going to carry them on his shoulders, should be interesting though

i definatly didnt expect him to go to the jets. its going to be wierd seeing him in a NYJ jersy this year. i wonder if they gave green bay a 1st round pick for him

Yes, they did. I'm glad the Jets offered him a better deal than the Bucs. The majority of Bucs fans didn't want him here.

No, Green Bay isn't that stupid. I guarantee there is a clause in there taking away the chance of him being a Viking.

Correction. It was a fourth round pick, but would be a 1st rounder if the Jets make the Super Bowl. And, if the Jets trade him to the Vikings, they have to give the Packers 3 1st round conditional picks.
