Stay at the Luxor. It is cheaper than Mandalay Bay, but close to everything. It's not the nicest of casino's, but the location/price are good. You will not spend time in your hotel. Also check out NYNY and Monte Carlo. My friends all get great deals when they stay there. Monte carlo has a GREAT pool too.

Spywizard when is the last time you were here? Most of the places you listed don't exist anymore. As a matter of fact, the Aladdin doesn't exist anymore, its now called Planet Hollywood. Baby's is no longer at the Hard Rock. Rum Jungle doesn't exist anymore, etc. etc. The hotspots in Vegas now are Pure, Tao, and Tryst. The Bank at Bellagio is supposed to be cool and so is the new club at Treasure Island (cant recall the name). Anyway, most of those high end clubs are going to be expensive. Every place worth going is going to be a minimum $20 cover unless your local. Drinks are gonna be expensive as well.

BTW, I live here and work for a major casino chain.

Yes, I do speak Japanese and yes, Japanese culture IS boring. All that really old traditional shit is gone. Now when you visit a historical landmark, it has a sign reading "Sponsored by Hitachi" (or other corporation). That's like going to the Eiffel Tower or the Great Wall of China and seeing a sign "Sponsored by Renault or China Telecom". Everything is about "tatemae" (the ideal situation) rather than "honne" (the real situation). So, they're basically a society of liars (at least to my Western way of thinking).

There are stoplights every 100 meters and the toll highways are so crowded, these dudes can only go 100-120 km/hour. That would be like being on Viagra all day long and unable to get some. You should see the guys driving brand new Ferraris and Lamborghinis in downtown Tokyo - they look like dumbasses, because they rev their engines and only travel 100m every 15 minutes.

Sasuke (Ninja Warrior) sucks ass...those guys are pussies. One of them worked out at East Tokyo Gold's and that dude was weak. I freakin' hate that show.

Talk to the girls signing people of for the Club/points cards. The one girl got me into LAX for free and without waiting in line. Also, talk to a bouncer. They typically work at more than one club. If you throw them a few bucks, they will let you pass the line. I threw a bouncer $100, and he let us in before EVERYONE as soon as the doors opened at PURE. I didn't think $100 would do it, but he was more than happy to let me and my 4 boys in. Didn't even have girls with us, lol.

I don't think you can really go wrong in Vegas, but expect to pay a decent amount for drinks no matter where you go. If you worried about spending the cash, get loaded on free drinks before you go.
