Of course its a hoax. Think about what the much energy would do to your brain. Also think about how much battery power it would take to create that amount of energy.

You can unlock your car door with a cell phone if someone else on the other end has an electronic lock/unlock. Blew my friggin mind when i tried it. Cooking stuff is a bit far fetched.

/\ Thats really cool, never even thought of it.
I thought about the amount of energy thing, unless the chinese have some special cellphone technology that we don't.
I also saw someone light a match with a green pen laser pointer and that runs off less energy than a phone, so I don't know.

That doesn't work. Someone fooled you. Car remotes work at 300MHz and cell phones work at 700+MHZ. There isn't a way to transfer a non-sound single through a cell.
Also, car remotes transfer a radio signal while cell phones transfer sound energy. Basically, it just isn't going to happen.

Not really being an ass it's just not true. Sorry if I came off as one. You were probably standing within range of the car still.

Pradeep Khosla, dean of Engineering and the CERT center at CMU.-
Khosla said," The remote on a car door works on a radio frequency. If somebody from other side clicks on the remote, what the cell phone will transmit is an audio frequency. The car will not recognize it. It's the wrong frequency."
If it really works for you I guess the more power to you. I know I don't have a cell phone that can take in a radio signal as sound then transfer it back out as radio. That would be a miracle!
