Computer Speakers.
I wanted to set up a satellite surround sound speaker system in my room to set up with my computer. Any decently priced models you guys know of or tried?

Logitech G51 or z5500 (if you have the extra cash)

Hope you have some extra "D" batteries laying around.

^^Does it really drain the batteries? They are satellite wireless right?

They drain batteries and still don't sound anywhere near as good as wired speakers yet. There isn't a fast/powerful enough way to get efficient wattage through wireless without losing some important quality.
Are you only going to have them hooked through your computer or are you looking to also have it hooked through a TV/Tuner/etc..?
I have the Klipsch ProMedia 5.1 THX surround speakers for my computer. They're probably one of the most expensive computer speakers but I've always had good experiences with all Klipsch products. I would check them out if I were you. Logitech makes some good computer surround sound systems as well.
If you're also going to have it hooked through a TV you would need to hook wire your computer to it through an auxiliary.
