haha. yea. sadly. i read the series while i was locked up. and i had to read the books all out of order. i think i read book 4 first. so ive always wanted to go back and start reading again from book 1 and to the end. the proper way!

Man you should do. Funny enough I was given Book 4 as a christmas present years ago and when I found out it was part of an ongoing series I decided to track down the first book and give it a go. The rest is history. But yeah, maybe read the series again from start to finish!

The entire Dark Tower series is epic, beyond EPIC! The first book is my favourite of the series strangely enough, cause it's all about Roland when its just him....but the very last book, Book 7: The Dark Tower, is a VERY close second! But yeah, I would definitely put The Gunslinger as my favourite book ever. Ive never read anything like it, and I doubt I ever will read anything like it in the future. By the way Dukkit, did you like the ending?

I've read the first two and thought they were sweet, still haven't bought the rest though now that you guys are talkin about it i'm probably gonna have to do that.

1. I was almost born 2 months premature on a plane leaving Hawaii. Thankfully, my mom held me in (like the turd I am) until I was fully cooked at 9.5 lbs.

7. I completely ruptured one disc and herniated another jumping out of helos somewhere in the Middle East. I didn't get surgery until 6 months later, spent the next 9 months going through physical therapy, and then was honorably discharged for a medical condition.

8. The VA paid for my master's and doctorate in applied linguistics. I'm a 40% disabled veteran collecting disability benefits.

9. I have a beautiful wife, a little girl, and a little boy. My daughter was born 2.5 months premature and almost didn't make it. We drove around in an ambulance for almost 90 minutes trying to find a hospital with a NICU and doctors willing to deliver a bi-racial child.

10. I never understood racism until I moved to Japan. Now, I am a racist. I did too but I think working for Hospice for 4 years got me over that, you can't be afraid to die, it happens, accept it.

We played at the Vancouver stop on the Vans Warped Tour and have been on the radio here. If it doesn't work out it's not a big deal to me cause I'm confident I will get out there eventually.

I can relate to No 2, get the same feeling at times, i don't watch that much news now, seen enough bad things for a life time...
