I know what you mean J, but i lost my entire family when i was 18, had some terrible relationships and have been like this for over 20 years now. I have spent so much time in the worst places you can think of seeing such things that people do to each other, i have long ago lost faith in the good of people...

I have friends but relationships i keep far and short, I know it is not for everyone but the past effects you, will i die alone,,,yes, but i have gone through so much alone and nearly died so many times alone its ok..

Fear of pain i don't have, I just don't believe in one love for one person, or that of a so called solemate anymore,,, others do thats fine

I dont buy into the whole solemate thing either. There are numerous people out there that you could love and be compatible with. But once you lose that first one you truly love, i believe you get damaged too much to love anyone the same again. Thats just how i feel at the moment.

Yeah the first real love is hard...... can't tell you it will get easier as i know you know it won't...

What i do mate is not go out and bang something else, i delve into life, live it as much as i can, i do what i want.

Not saying this is for you, am just saying what i am like after my life. I am 44 now, i dive, i surf, gym, fight at times, i try what i like, i have some good mates, when i want a woman or two i get them, have great fun for a night, a couple of days, a week and then they leave but are still friends.

Life is short, i don't believe in god so this is it, one time, find what, not who that makes you happy and grasp it with both hands and don't regret.
If you find someone else to fill your heart great if that's what you want, if not you need to love what you are and enjoy who you are...trust me life really is short.....
