    Controlling computers

    You guys remember Windows 95?
How it was easy to control people through trojans (Netbus) and ping people or nuke them.

I thought that era was over.
Now my brother with his IPOD can controll people in a certain network and can write things while you write, control the mouse etc.

Any1 heard of this? He wont tell me how he does it.

And, is controlling people CD ROMs, viewing their files, just for fun still possible.?
By this I mean in easily. Not really difficult Linux/Unix Shell hacking - just programs?
    Thanks,
    Cardio

    *yawn*

Probably using "VNC", and this can only be done when he is on the same network as the computer he "controls"...lots of other ways but I know there is an iPhone and iTouch app for VNC which is a means of remot controlling other machines.

Sure is, same concept. However, few would be willing to discuss such methods openly, seeing as it's illegal.

I learned to do it because I was a victim myself.
I had a compaq computer with a cdrom drive that didn't open, it was just a hole for the cd to go in.
One day i was being controlled, and it spit out the cd kinda short cirquited the computer.
    So, I got revenge

Someone pm me if they know?

I have always did remote desktop. Even 95 had its version through windows messenger and you can take over the computer as if you were sitting in front of it.
