Diet and Gear on World's Strongest Athletes
Guys, I watched the WSM and found it incredibly inspiring. Mariusz especially. I don't think I've ever seen his physique in such a good shape. Does anyon have any links to what sort of diet they would be on?
Also, I imagine this will be like asking what Arnie cycles, in that we will never know, but any ideas as to what compounds and doses? Obviously it would pretty heavy shit, but just wondered if anyone could shed any light on this....

You will be hard pressed to find any information about cycles from a strongman. As a strongman myself, I'm a member of several forums and even the top pros don't discuss diet or cycles. Test, tren , and HGH is huge in strongman circles. A lot of them use EPO as well because of the cardio nature of many strongman comps.

I guessed that with gear, but threw it out there. What about diet, surely that would get some publicity for the shock factor to the masses?!

Yeah I am pretty sure they would never talk about the gear they take because, correct me if I am wrong, but gear is illegal in the WSM. Didn't Mariusz get banned for a year for violating their banned substance policy?

Yep you are correct. WSM doesn't test for AAS only for illicit drugs. None of the major strongman orgs test for AAS they would be fools and bankrupt if they did. TWI (the company that produces WSM) tried to implement a bs drug testing policy that attempted to include AAS but it fell through and that was about the time of the big split between TWI and IFSA.

I think he's eating a whole bunch of celery at every meal. It makes him shoot bigger loads.

They have to be comsuming a huge amount of calories to be keeping that strength on. I honestly don't think they watch what they eat too much untill later in the day, and just make sure they get their cardio in.

A typical bodybuilders diet. Why anything else.

Im guessing the ones who do well eat much like bodybuilders taking in Maint pro and fat then Carbs for energy and running the same gaer as everyone else but higher dosages to account for their size, there cardio is mostly consisted of the challenges in which they do in the WSM comps

Like I said earlier, our(their) diets are dependant on what kind of contest they are preparing for. If you look at the Arnold Classic strongman, very few of the compeititors are ripped (even Mariusz but he is still solid), it's because the Arnold is more about static, absolute strength. The World's Strongest Man competition has many more mobil events, and high rep events.
