Memo - To All Employees

As the CFO of this business that employs 140 people, I have resigned myself to the fact that Barack Obama is our new President and that our taxes and government fees will increase in a BIG way.

To compensate for these increases, I figure that our clients will have to see an increase in our fees to them of about 8%, but since we cannot increase our fees right now due to the dismal state of our economy, we will have to lay off six of our employees instead.

This has really been eating at me for a while, as we believe we are family here and I didn't know how to choose who will have to go. So, this is what I did. I strolled through our parking lot and found 8 Obama bumper stickers on our employees' cars and have decided these folks will be the first to be laid off. I can't think of a more fair way to approach this problem. These folks wanted change; I'm giving it to them.

Being the optimist that I am, and giving him benefit of the doubt, is has only been since January so lets all hope and pray he'll begin to turn things around in one way or another, however it dosent look promising. I hate to be pessimistic given the wretched stimulus package, massive bailouts continuing, and poor judgment in appointees, the future is looking indeed bleak...

...and like spy says, buy ur guns now because 2nd amendenment wont be around for much longer.

i don't see how you can blame it all on him... if anyone (this is coming from my mom, a republican) blame clinton. but bush never did anything to fix it either in the 8 years he was in office. obama has been in office for 6 weeks and its all his fault? i don't really see the logic here, because if he won 60% of the votes, not everyone will run to the hills as soon as he starts trying new things.

also, if he retracts a good amount of the troops, he can release a stimulus package twice a year and it will cost the same as the war does now
