Girls are intimidated by me !?

Evidently,(some) girls are intimidated by me, or so I've been told over the years. Not sure if it's because I fancy "little asian girls" and I'm rather large by their standards, or if it's because I sport a shaven head half the time, or what!?

Sometimes I can break the ice with a smile, sometimes not so much . . . evidently at times my smile resembles that of the devil (or so I've been told, lol). However, I normally end up with (mildly) crazy chicks. I guess they're the only ones that aren't intimidated to really talk to me and get to know me. LOL.

Anyhow, I need some advice on how to appear less intimidating and more approachable to a greater number of chicks . . . without of course losing 50 lbs and looking like an anorexic emo boy!

Is it intimidating from:
being a bully
looking mad all the time
being a dick
looking scary

OR is it:
sexual presence
confidence
charisma

or something good that can intimidate people. People intimidate themselves, if it happens don't always assume you need to change something.
If you do figure out you do need to change, I'd suggest reading some NLP books and working out some personality adjustments in real life.

idk, smile more, and don't look away from people and don't stare at them too long either. smile/laugh if they say something funny, (even if its not) people love thinking they're funny and not that many people are.
Just do more "acting" and less you. Talk back, be interesting, funny (if its stupid people appreciate the attempt anyway to impress them).

I had the same problem, 6'1 200lbs, glasses and shaved head. People fear what they don't understand. Just like gothic looking people, they seem like psychos, but when you actually talk to them. They are just like everybody else just look different. Take Alice Cooper for instance, crazy as hell, kick azz rocker, psycho lookin, but both parents were into the church and so was he. Just sittin down talkin to him, he is one of the smartest people you'd ever talk to. Don't even worry about the intimidation, just gotta keep lookin man, and good luck.

My best guess is ti has nothing to do with the way you look. You have the power to overcome looks by speaking and confidence. Ugly guys would never be with hotties if that were true, and good looking guys would always be with hotties. We all know that isn't the case.

I would be willing to bet you are intimidated by them before they are by you. Girls have that sonar thing that pickes up on it.

Be careful not to confuse being intimidating with being cocky. Because what you might find appealing about yourself might be a turn off to others. Not just everyone is going to love you for the way you look. Especially the way you love how you look.
