The one where the guy runs into the back of the car....classic. Imagine going 40mph and wearing basically just a speedo and takin a digger...pain
Armstrong is a C-Sucker

I saw him this year when they raced from San francisco to Santa Cruz. I guess armstrong didn't even make 5th place then.

He never intended to win that race.
In cycling you can't be at peak performance for every race. You can only focus on maybe a couple a year. Kinda like bodybuilding, you can't maintain shreaded competition bodyfat year round.
His goal was to finish top 15 and help Levi Leipheimer win and defend his title. He made 7th place out of 136 riders, yeah, I'd say he's still got it based on that performance.
Many people think Lance was puting his focus on winning the giro d'italia. Probably the second biggest race in cycling and one lance has never participated in. His focus was always the tour and winning the giro and tour in the same year is not a good stategy if you want to win either. This injury is going to most likely make it impossible for him to win the giro. Hard to say what will happen for the tour though, it might shift his focus or not give him enough time to prepare. Anyway, it's not a good thing.

Crashes are entertaining. Use to be the only reason to watch nascar.

crashes hurt so bad
the spandex offers no protection
somehow the road rash gets right through

I dont understand the spandex shirts. Why not just ride shirtless? Most riders just end up with the shirt unzipped anyway, which I'm sure doesn't help with aerodynamics.

haha nice pics..
i don't see him winning the tour again. especially this year with this injury. he'll be out at least a couple weeks from any real riding from the injury, and i can't imagine that helps his fitness at all.
i can't see how you can hate on him though. after what he's been through to do what he did is amazing. who would care about cycling if it wasn't for him? i'd put him with tiger woods to gold and michael phelps to swimming

he'll be off his bike for maybe 1.5 weeks
I'm sure he plans to race more this season or he wouldn't go for the surgery
Tour isn't till July, so enough time to still put on a good show. I think winning the giro is out but who knows, after all it is Lance Armstrong we're talking about.
