I am a dirty rotten filthy tobacco smoking whore !! Cigs are evil, but they are soooo good. If you do not crave the taste of a hot white smoking stick between your lips, or a cigarette, then my advice is to stay away from them, nothing good there. If you need to smoke something go for something better for yourself like some week or crack.

You should pick up the new marlboros, they are only sold only in California though.

Man I smoke and I hate it! I really want to quit. I have tried a lot of ways but always find myself at 7/11 buying a pack a week later.
What have the guys that have succesfully quit done that works?

Patches don't work, nor do NRTs (nicotine replacement)
90% of people quit cold turkey, and only stay quit because they have found the right reasons.
Reasons could be:
You understand you're not immortal and your 96year old smoking grandfather is really just a random lucky bastard.
You understand nicotine really doesn't make you *FEEL* a whole hell of a lot at all (like when people say it relaxes me). A lot of its in your head and most people stress more when they do smoke than when they don't.
You understand you may possibly just like the taste of smoke and the way it feels to think you're a dragon for 5 mins (blowing smoke out your orfices)
But you're really only blowing smoke up your ass, you'll never be a dragon so drop the fvcking dream and grow up already!
--------------------
Reasons not to quit:
Subconsciously you really hate life and want to die, but smile everyday and go about your business like you're not a miserable fvcker (seriously, smokers for some reason seem more miserable than nonsmokers)
If you quit you're afraid not that you'll eat and get fat, but that you might possibly gain the ability to breathe, run farther, do MORE cardio, and actually lose weight (omg no he didnt [yes I did])
Lastly (think about this real hard)
Smoking (are you ready?) is a socially excused break for 5-7mins. If you're at work people will just conform to you going on a smoke break, it gives you an excuse to put work on pause and "catch a breather". Maybe.. just maybe.. smoking helps you be the lazy person you deep down really wanna be?

I use to smoke cigs, but quit that a few years back. Never tried chewing tobacco. Not a fan of 420. These days I only smoke cigars. Normally at least 1 or 2 per week. Sometimes one a day when time permits.

I will admit I have smoked about anything that can be smoked in the past, but now I ONLY smoke cigs and that is when I drink on occassion. Otherwise nothing at all.

The one thing I have noticed about smoking thats sad is even after a person quits you hear a lot of them even YEARS LATER talking about cigs like they just stopped yesterday.
Thats why people like bigsexy will never realize how fortunate they are to have never laid a finger on the shit EVER.

Yeah. Its weird because everyone thinks I smoke because I do other stuff, well, use too. I still drink too much though lol
But it seems like everyone smokes. I was at a party last week, and everyone was smoking, even a few friends who don't smoke lol.
I felt like I should and kind of wanted too, but I just have never brought myself to smoking. I don't even want to take that step.

Yeh I know EXACTLY what you're talking about.
Everytime I go out theres those select few nonsmokers who always smoke when they're drinking, but theres only like 1 or 2 guys who consistently will not touch a cigarette no matter how much they're drinking.
When I use to smoke, if I was drunk a cig would do 2 things, it would make me feel drunker but at the same time perk me up, which I guess you can say is good if you're trying to have a good time, but I still would absolutely 100% be an advocate of you just being you and never trying it, EVEN IF its the only time you ever do it.

I absolutely despise cigarette smoke.
My boss is the only guy I know who chews and it smells like total **** to get anywhere near him.
I don't get it.

I used to smoke a few years I didn't smoke enough for it to be a physical addiction. You need to smoke 1 pack+ a day for it to be anything physical at all.
It's just the habit of doing it when you go for a drive or have friends that are going out for smokes, which will trigger you wanting to smoke.
