I posted this here just becoz i know the guys that post in the lounge give good advice while making fun of you .. so win win...
Here;s the problem: SLEEP
For the past two weeks, my appetite suddently fell off which im not worried since i can force my self to eat.
The problem is i am sleepy all day even if i sleep for 10 hours prior to waking up.
The only time i don't feel sleepy is between the hours of 11pm-1am. I sleep from 1am- noon.
BUT when i wake up, i am sleepy all day.
THIS IS REALLY APROBLEM SINCE IT INTERFERES WITH MY MOTIVATION TO WORK OUT.
Has anyone had this issue, it has kept me out of the gym and this forum for a week now. Please help.
cliff notes for MATT:
Sleepy all day
sleep from 1am-noon.
wake up still sleepy
only hours not sleepy is 11pm-1am.
thanks for any input

Are you on a cycle of any kind? If so, what is it?

work out from 11pm-1am?
-
caffeine or stimulant usage?
off the bat, I'd say force yourself to get on a solid 7-8hr sleep schedule. If I slept 11hrs I'd be groggy all day, too.

why work out 11p-1am?
I mean, i don't know anything else about your situation, but you should be going to be at that time, not lifting.

^he needs to get on a natural, healthy sleep cycle.
lifting at 11p-1am will not help him get to bad at a reasonable time.
Ah, to be young again. I'd be dragging on your schedule, T.

Bro meditation helps me, but it takes awhile to get it down. I started off taking sleeping pills and still could not sleep. I started meditation and listening to meditation music after a week I was able to get to sleep after about 20 mins and able to sleep all night long..
I down loaded some free on lime wire and frost wire, I hope this helps..

Imo, your just over sleeping man, when I sleep for 10hrs or more I'm tired all day as well.
Try getting just 7 or 8 hours instead, it might be hard to get used to at first but it should help.

For what it is worth the older i get the worse my energy levels vary throughou tthe day. I stated taking b12 ED and my energy levels leveled out. I started it because of thinking it would help mt appetite which was the real problem (I was on cycle and couldn't eat) but what happend was I noticed I did't want to nap throughout the day.
I just recently stopped taking it because 1) I ran out and have not reordered and 2) I rather like my midday nap

From my own experience, you will get used to not sleeping. You won't be feeling tired anymore BUT that is not how it should be.
