I use to have to stand watch over our fertilizer tanks cause meth heads would come drain them to help cook that shit up. I did have to call the game warden when I caught someone poaching deer on our land we caught them off and just waited for the game warden to come out. There truck and guns were confisicated and I believe hunting license was revoked for 5 years.

A couple of salesmen came into my business and wouldn't leave. I could have laid into both of them, but then I would have created legal problems for myself. They skampered away just before the cops arrived.
I assumed they wouldn't return, but I assumed wrong. Last time, though, I asked to see what they were selling (a greeting-card sized book of coupons for $40) and they handed me one. I put it in my desk drawer and called the cops. Then I told the salesmen they were violating the city no-solicitation ordinance (big $$$ fine). They asked for their coupon book back, and I promised to give it to them when the cops arrived. Instead, they fled. Their boss called a few hours later, and I cussed him out.

Ya, I could have laid into them, but this was more fun . . .

You know, I was thinking about it, and in 27 years on this planet I have never run into a problem I could not have solved myself.

ive called the cops once. i was in a public situation and being that im on probation/parole i figured that my only safe way out of the situation without causing myself to go back to jail was just call the cops. and it worked, they came. cleared my name. it was all good.

but... ive had the cops called on me many times. assholes

I am on Parole and my wife's (then my g/f) ex husband tried to put his hands on her in front of me. I expressed my displeasure and had him swing on me. I whooped his ass in front of the nieghbors, his friends, his kids, and God. When I was done I called the cops to make the report because I knew if he made the call I was going to have a harder time staying out of jail. I won all the way around. I did not press charges, just made a report, and got the nieghbors on record saying he swung on me first. He won't be trying that shit ever again.

My experiences with cops have all been negative. I've been locked up (for bullshit), I've had a gun drawn on me (without reasonable cause)... I've never had a reason to call them and hopefully never will. The less I have to do with police the better off I am

LOL...same here. Both of my parents are retired Special Agents, they've got nothing good to say about police officers. My father had to arrest a local cop once, for interferring with an investigation for no reason other than a pissing contest.

I've never had a good experience with the police. We had a string of home invasions and burglaries in my neighborhood. It took a couple of my neighbors with me, and a camcorder, sitting in the bushes at night, watching and waiting. We then handed over the tape of the break in to the police, and gave them information pulled by using the burglar's license plate on his car. Only then did the police arrest the guy...great job guys. What exactly do they get paid to do again?
