absolutely. Had a lamb shawarma for lunch today. I gotta start getting kabobs and brown rice there soon while I cut my weight.

My area has a large Arabic population. Most the women I've dated have been Lebanese or Syrian and most the restaurants I go to are of the same ethnicity. Surprisingly, their families always approve and love me despite the typical stereotype that an Arabic family would never let their daughters date outside the race.

Yeah it's a stereotype that a lotta times isn't true. I think it's more from the Muslim side(I'm not against at all, just staring what I think is true) that they shouldn't date outside their religion, and from there this stereotype started! Yeah we're generally accepting people. And I'm pretty sure she has a loud family too, no? Lol

Christian, thou I grew up with most of my good friends being muslim, so I got to see both worlds(I'm glad I grew up like this, else I might have been ignorant about their beliefs like many people out there, and that's what causes hatred). Are you muslim by any chance?

Dads Lebanese. My grandma was from Dearborn. I used to go up there a bit. Great food.

That's where I lived when I joined here. I grew up and now live within 30 min of Dearborn.
