I get out of the shower and am walking to my room and what do i see..... A bunch of people in my living room and then bam like a shining light i saw a complete slob of a fat guy and guess what he was wearing LMAO.. I started just laughing my ass off cus this thread was the first thing that came to mind. Guess the OP was right lolol. And to make things worse it was a kimbo slice tapout shirt HAHAH

Lol, after reading this thread I decided to strike up a convo with a kid that wears 'tap out' religiously.
Me "Do you practice MMA??
Kid "Yea, I do ju jitsu an kickboxing. You should try it, you look pretty tough. What are you about 200?"
Me "Nah, Ima bout 180. I wrestled for a bit but fightings not my thing. I hear wrestlers do OK though?"
Kid "Yea but they usually have trouble on the ground"
kid "You shouldn't train legs so much, jogging will do that" End of conversation.
Cliff Notes. Tapout kid (supposed fighter) guessed my weight and was 20 pounds off. Tapout kid told me wrestlers have a tough time fighting on the ground. Tapout kid told me not to train legs because jogging will do that.
lol, I failed to mention Ima red belt in tkd, went to states in highschool, and trained with a few boxers. I should've challenged him, winner buys loser a new tapout shirt.

I wear Hanes....thats my brandname for gym clothing. I wear a plane white Hanes T shirt.
I have only seen one kid in a tapout shirt. Its just not a thing at all on campus. BUt backhome, you see it from time to time. The only kid that stands out fresh in my mind with a tap out shirt was indeed about 5'6 190 pounds and 19 percent bodyfat walking with his arms flared

So I guess it's safe to assume that one who wears Nike golf attire is the 2nd coming of Tiger Woods?

took my kids out to eat after soccer today, and the guy i seen made me instantly think of this post. He was maybe 5'7" 135lbs, an obvious meth head (jittery sunken cheeks, no teeth, couldnt stop moving his mouth) and geared out in tapout shirt and hat, with the cagefighter shorts on. I laughed a lot and raced home to post.

seriously, I didnt want to get this thread going again, but I was so pissed off watching them playing with the only 2 bags waiting for them to leave. It got kind of entetainning watching them tutor each other on mauy thai techniques near the end. Finally I just got my gear and walked in, they were nice enough to leave.

This I get. I was kind of confused by this thread. Now I get it. Some kids at your gym are acting like total douche bags, and they happen to be wearing tap out shit.
Personally I couldn't care less what people wear, but when people try to jump on my bench in between sets w/o asking, I get pissed. I might react by making fun of their clothes.

Just going to speak my mind here for you guys.............
Amateur MMA fighters are generally idiots.
You think cause you've been ammature training for a sport that is relatively new to the US, that these companies make millions of Affliction, Extream and Tap Out shirts EXCLUSIVELY for you?
I wear affliction shirts all the time, tap out from time to time. Guess what, I'VE never been in a cage and never will. I enjoy watching the sport, but I don't have the time between my work and training to fight. I am not violent, and If I was going to do it, it would not be to get in a punching match in a cage, get cauliflower ears and show up on my customers houses with black eyes, fat lips and cuts on my face.
Did you ever consider, they don't make these products for the 2% of the population that trains MMA?
Further more, have you ignorant people come to think, maybe it's GOOD for the sport you train in, that people are buying these products?
You think every guy in a Lakers shirt is playing ball ever weekend? Or you think they are leaving the playing up to Kobe and just watching the play offs?
Just because you've been in a cage 3 times in your life does not mean you get exclusive rights to a shirt.

TapOut is gay which is why I wear a Members Only jacket and my baggy MC Hammer pants to the gym. I'm 2 Legit 2 quit. Don't hate. Jealous?

Tapout blows, but I dont agree with the hating of affliction, their tees are sick and perfect to wear in the club. I cant actually see why anyone would wear affliction tees to the gym, most of them are for the club scene.
