Don't go by the member's list because the first four have 1969 as their registration year, which isn't possible. The Original Jason, Pete, Tobey, PaPaPumP, Xbiker, RON, Full Intensity, Big Traps, Arthur, Nathan, Mike, Big Al, Billy Boy, and myself are a few that have been around since the start.

I'm interested in the history of AR.
-I've heard about the "old board", what was that all about
-Who started AR
-Who owns AR now
-Is AR a profitable business or just something you guys do as a hobby
Sorry if it sounds like I'm being nozy, just never hear anybody talk about the origins of AR

unclebeets, The old board is just that. Before we switched to vbulletin, about a year and a half ago, there was an old board. It was great and had a really close family fealing (like this one but even more so due to the size).
Why so many questiongs bro?

Yes the old board ohhh memories....if you do i search i asked ptbyjason for a link of what the old board looked like. If you find it (i'd search but i'm too lazy right now) you'll get to see what the old board looked like

I used to read the old board everyday, then when the new one came on, i read it everyday as well, oddly enough it took me like 6 months to not be lazy and sign up!!!
the old boards post would move at very slow rate. you ask a question it would be visable near the top for days it seemed!

I know I have been here a long damn time.. hell half the guys I used to talk to when I was just a youngster, not knowing anything, are gone now..
The board got hacked about 8 months ago, and alot of the orginal members accounts got deleted or reset. That is why some accounts that have been here for a long time, dont' seem that way. Fortunately, my account was spared.. LOL.

I'm almost sure that the first 5 are Mods who's account got deleted when our site was hacked. They all had to make new accounts.
